When can I expect my order to be delivered?
FOR MEAL & CLEANSE ORDERS
Our meals are cooked and delivered the same day straight from our kitchen to yours. All food is therefore delivered fresh however you can freeze all add ons and meals (except for the salad based ones). We deliver to all of the Northern Beaches and up to the Eastern Suburbs.
Delivery time varies depending on when we finish cooking and packing your meals however it is usually between 3:30pm - 7:30pm on Sunday and Wednesday (earliest delivery is 3pm, latest is 9pm - if needed, you can text 0416421235 for an ETA). Meals will be delivered to your doorstep and you’ll receive an SMS notification on delivery.
In order to reduce packaging waste, we avoid using cooler packs and cardboard boxes so if you aren’t going to be home to bring the meals in, we suggest leaving an esky out with a note for the driver to put them in or you can choose to pick up the following day at Astin Min, Collaroy (between 10am-4pm), text 0416421235 to let us know before 3pm. If you have purchased a reusable glass container pack, meals will be delivered in our custom cooler bags with ice packs.
Meals labelled Sunday will be delivered Sunday and meals labelled Wednesday will be delivered Wednesday.
For pick-up orders, your meals will be ready for collection at Astin Min, Collaroy between 10am-4pm Monday and Thursday. Most the time, meals are ready to pick up from 8am - shoot us a text if you want to pick up before 10am and we can send you a confirmation!
How do the meals come?
Meals are made and delivered on the same day, twice a week. They come fresh (nothing frozen here, although they can be frozen if not consumed within 3-5 days) in BPA-free recyclable containers. For on-going orders, we recommend purchasing a reusable glass meal pack. These keep your meals fresher for longer! This includes 12 glass containers and 2 cooler bags that are yours to keep and will be reused for your orders.
How does using the glass containers work?
Upon purchasing a reusable glass meal pack, you will own 12 glass containers and 2 cooler bags that we will use to package your meals in. We recommend ordering twice weekly (from both the Sunday and Wednesday menu) to allow a smooth system of reusing and returning your containers.
Heres how it works: Your Sunday meals will be delivered in a cooler bag filled with your glass containers. On Wednesday before 3pm, after you have consumed all your meals, you then leave your empty glass containers in your cooler bag at your doorstep. When our driver delivers Wednesdays meals (in your remaining glass containers) he will then collect your empty glass containers from Sunday to reuse for your next order.
How often does the menu change?
There are 12 options per week to choose from and the menu changes weekly with at least 50 different meals on the menu each month! All meals are gluten-free. We also avoid using anything that isn’t real food so you’ll find no additives, preservatives, refined sugars, refined oils, numbers, colours or gas. The only oils we use are extra virgin olive oil (evoo), coconut oil, sesame oil, butter and ghee. There are always at least two different options for fish, red meat, poultry and vegetarian/ vegan options per week with at least 10 vegetarian/ vegan alternatives for each protein.
How much does one meal serve?
Each meal generously feeds one person or 2 children with at least 150g of a protein source per meal. Meals are roughly between 450-600 calories. Family meals are designed to serve 3-4. We’re much more of a fan of counting nutrients rather than calories and create ever-changing seasonal menus that are based on having as much variety and color as possible. You’ll have the opportunity to try something new in each meal, everyday and every week!
Can the meals be frozen?
YES! As we cook and deliver meals the same day they arrive fresh (sometimes even still hot!) but meals can be frozen if you want to stock your freezer up or cant get through them fast enough. They are best consumed within 3 days if fresh (to get the most nutritional value out of them but are fine for up to 5 days) or up to 2 months if frozen. All our treats can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
Can I sign up to a weekly delivery without having to place a weekly order?
Most definitely! We want to make this as simple and convenient as possible. Let us take care of the ordering so you don’t have to think about it. Just let us know in the personalised ordering form of any dietary requirements or dislikes and how many meals / snacks you’d like delivered on Sunday and Wednesday. Pause and stop when you want - just give us a day or 2 notice!
